We are starting at The Picture House, Leighton Buzzard with small practical sessions for home educated and flexi educated learners aged 8 to 16. A parent or guardian must stay during the first pilot sessions. Places are limited while we keep the first sessions small and manageable.

Do parents or guardians need to stay?

Yes. A parent or guardian must stay during the first pilot sessions. These early sessions are designed for parents or guardians to remain on site throughout.

What age are the sessions for?

The first Mobile Tech pilot sessions are aimed at home educated and flexi educated learners aged 8 to 16.

Does my child need tech experience?

No. The sessions are beginner friendly. Learners do not need coding, gaming, computer or website experience to join.

What will learners do?

Learners will try relaxed practical tech activities. These may include computer confidence, creative digital tasks, website ideas, AI tools, digital skills, problem solving and gaming-style confidence building.

What should my child bring?

For the first pilot sessions, learners do not need to bring their own laptop unless Tech Den specifically asks. If anything is needed for a session, this will be shared before the date.

Is this suitable for anxious or quieter learners?

The first sessions are small, relaxed and designed to help learners build confidence. Parents can share support needs before booking or by contacting Tech Den.

What happens after I book?

Your booking reserves a session space. Credits are reserved when you book and used when the session starts. Your child will be welcomed on arrival and any computer or station will be assigned at the session.

What if the session is full?

If a session is full, families can ask about future dates through the Mobile Tech Sessions enquiry route.

Can siblings attend?

Yes, siblings can attend if there are spaces available and each learner has a booked place.

A parent or guardian must stay during the pilot session.
Your booking reserves a session space rather than a specific PC or station. Stations are assigned when learners arrive.
Learners will be shown where to sit when they arrive.
If your child has support needs, anxiety, sensory needs or confidence worries, please let us know before the session.
The first sessions are small so we can learn what works and support learners properly.
